Calogy Solutions Partners with Hesse Customer Solutions to Provide Battery Wire-Bonding Services

Wire bonding consists of attaching wires to interconnect hundreds and thousands of cells together to form a complete battery module, providing higher current and higher voltage than a single cell can provide. Among the various methods typically used to interconnect cells, wire bonding is at the forefront, allowing efficient and cost-effective production, inherent enhancement of safety (fusing in the case of short circuits), and the use of high-energy density cylindrical cells. By enabling rapid prototyping and facilitating low/medium-volume battery production locally, Calogy’s wire bonding services will empower innovators, researchers, and companies to streamline their efforts and minimize logistical challenges as well as an option to produce the modules locally.
Under the terms of this agreement, Calogy Solutions and Hesse Customer Solutions will collaborate to offer wire bonding services for prototype and low/medium-volume batteries across Eastern Canada, encompassing the provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
